Team17 launches first game on next generation video game consoles

Team17 Group PLC (LON:TM17) has announced the launch of its first game for the next generation of video game consoles, Overcooked! All You Can Eat.

The video game developer said the title has launched on Microsoft Corp’s (NASDAQ:MSFT) Xbox Series X|S and will be launched tomorrow on Sony’s PlayStation 5.

The game includes full remastered versions of Overcooked! and Overcooked! 2, including all downloadable content previously released for both titles as well as seven new levels. The game will also be available in a physical edition for both next generation consoles later this year.

“We are delighted to be extending the gaming universe of both Overcooked! and Overcooked! 2 across these next-generation consoles and look forward to further expanding our diverse portfolio of titles over the coming months”, Team17 chief executive Debbie Bestwick said in a statement.
