Remote Monitored Systems PLC (LON:RMS) has provided another update on the progress of the antiviral face-mask being produced by its Pharm 2 Farm (P2F) subsidiary.
Following the submission of three batches of prototype masks for certification to PPE standard EN14683, the masks have undergone preliminary breathability testing.
One of the masks, a four-ply mask including an anti-viral layer, passed this breathability test, while the pair of five-ply masks with the antiviral layer failed this stage of the breathability test and require modification.
RMS said it will provide further updates as appropriate.
